Wauwatosa – Today, Scott Walker, Milwaukee County executive and candidate for governor, released a statement on the decision by the Doyle Administration not to place a rail station in Oconomowoc due to a lack of community support.  Monday, Scott Walker’s campaign released a television ad alongside a new campaign website: www.NoTrain.com, and held a rally near the crumbling Hoan Bridge.

“The news that the Obama-Doyle-Barrett $810 million boondoggle train will not stop in Oconomowoc is yet more proof that public support for this project across Wisconsin is losing steam.  I will continue to join with citizens from across the state to say “Yes We Can” stop this train, and advocate using the money for roads and bridges instead.”
