Walker Maintains Highest Favorability Ratings Despite Attacks

Wauwatosa – Keith Gilkes, campaign manager for Scott Walker, released the following statement on polling showing Scott Walker’s lead on Tom Barrett:
 
“Despite the desperate attacks of Tom Barrett and his liberal friends, Scott Walker is still the choice of Wisconsin voters,” said Gilkes.
 
Included in today’s poll:
       Walker’s favorability ratings still the highest of any candidate (55%-36%). Barrett viewed favorably by 45%, unfavorably by 47%.
       Walker viewed “very favorably” by 61% of Republicans and 57% of conservatives. Walker leads Neumann by 26 points in both categories.
       Walker viewed most favorably by independents and in a head to head matchup, leads Barrett among independents by 18 points.
