MADISON, Wis – August 30, 2010 – CORN PAC, the political action committee of the Wisconsin Corn Growers Association (WCGA), has announced its endorsements for the September Primary Elections.

The Corn Growers endorse Scott Walker for Governor. Walker, a Republican, is facing Mark Neumann in the primary which will determine who faces off against Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

“Walker clearly is the best candidate for rural Wisconsin,” said WCGA President Brian Long, Weyauwega. “He understands the challenges we face from overregulation, and we believe he is the best candidate for putting the state back in a strong fiscal position.”

WCGA represents the interests of Wisconsin’s Corn Growers on Federal, State, and local issues. The WCGA recently formed CORN PAC to get more directly involved in state elections.
