Walker Campaign Spreads Brown Bag Message at 40 Memorial Day Parades

Volunteers Distribute 40,000 Brown Bags Across State

Volunteers for Scott Walker, Milwaukee County executive and candidate for governor, visited 40 Memorial Day parades this weekend to spread Scott Walker’s Brown Bag Guide to Government.

“Our Brown Bag Movement could not succeed without our dedicated grassroots activists and volunteers who are ready to take back their government,” said Walker.  “This weekend alone our campaign hit 40 parades, touching real people and communities across our state, and we’re thankful for the continued flood of volunteers to our campaign.”

Over 75 volunteers visited 40 parades across Wisconsin on Monday.  The volunteers delivered over 40,000 Scott Walker brown bags with the phrase “I have to brown bag it to pay Wisconsin’s taxes", to crowds enthusiastically supporting Walker across Wisconsin.  On the previous weekend, Scott Walker received the endorsement of thousands of grassroots supporters at the GOP state convention with 91.3% of the vote.
