MILWAUKEE COUNTY EXECUTIVE SCOTT WALKER TO SPEAK AT STATE'S LARGEST TAXPAYER TEA PARTY

(Milwaukee) - Wisconsin's largest Taxpayer Tea Party is adding another headliner to their impressive list of speakers.  County Executive Scott Walker will join the event on Saturday, September 19th in Veterans Park in Milwaukee.  Walker says tea parties like the one in Milwaukee will send a message to politicians to live within the means of the people.

"True economic stimulus creates sustainable private-sector jobs. The fastest, most effective way to create them is to reduce taxes and implement regulatory and fiscal policies that encourage job growth and economic investment," Walker said, "History has shown repeatedly from John F. Kennedy to Ronald Reagan that as taxes are cut, consumers spend more and investors put more money in the economy. This, in turn, creates jobs, and grows the economy."

Walker will join an all-star cast of speakers including best selling author, blogger and Fox News Channel contributor Michelle Malkin.  The Vice-President of the Wisconsin Prosperity Network, Linda Hansen, says the tea party will be historic.

"Taxpayers in Wisconsin are ignited and united against excessive government spending and over-reaching policy proposals," Hansen said. "They want to send that message to elected officials and they are eager to learn how to be more effective and active citizens."
