It is understandable most Americans are cynical about politicians.

They campaign for all sorts of profound ideas - and then get in office and sucked in by the power. They become more and more distant from being a voice of the people.

This is one of many reasons Scott Walker is a breath of fresh air and an ideal gubernatorial candidate.

As County Executive, Mr. Walker has kept his campaign promises, spent the money like it was his own and stayed humble.

All of this in the face of fierce opposition.

Wisconsin needs this strong honor and fiscal responsibility in Madison.

Even more so accentuated by the corruption we've been assailed with for so many years. It is time to unleash the full potential of this state.
