Scott Walker releases mobile app for campaign (Oshkosh Northwestern)

One Republican seeking the party's gubernatorial nomination is trying to keep his campaign at your fingertips.

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker's campaign unveiled a mobile app -- good for iPhones and iPads -- that allows those who download it to stay up to date on his campaign with links to events, videos, issues, news and more.

In a press release on the matter Walker said: “Our campaign has the best, most organized network of real supporters doing real work online and I’m thrilled to be able to arm them with another useful tool. We are continuing to tap into the true grassroots movement that has developed in every county of our state by empowering our supporters to share our plan to put Wisconsin back to work.”

They are billing it as the first policital app in "history of Wisconsin politics," while we have yet to verify that, we can say that we haven't seen many others.
